Ahmed Yassin is a local Cairo host with more than 8 years of experience in tourism. He comes from an Old Cairo family with deep roots in the city, and his family once owned shops in the historic Khan El-Khalili area. This personal connection gives his tours a genuine local feeling, because Cairo is not just a destination he explains, it is part of his identity. Tourism also runs close to his family story: his father is an antiquities conservator and restoration specialist who worked on important projects in Egypt and abroad, including the Great Sphinx in Giza, the Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria, Bab Zuweila, several historic mosques in Old Cairo, and Al-Azhar Park. This background gave Ahmed a strong connection to Egypt’s heritage, monuments, streets, and stories, and shaped the way he shares Egypt with pride, warmth, and real local insight.
Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and worked in IT, but his real passion for history, storytelling, people, and Egyptian culture pushed him toward tourism and creating memorable experiences. He loves meeting travelers, sharing stories, making new friends from around the world, and learning about different cultures through every tour he hosts. This mix of education, professional experience, communication skills, and genuine passion helps him create tours that feel clear, organized, friendly, and full of life. For Ahmed, hosting tours is not only about explaining monuments; it is about connecting people with places, stories, and the spirit of Egypt in a way they can remember long after the tour ends.
Choosing a tour with Ahmed means exploring Egypt with someone who knows his country from the inside, not only from books. His long experience in tourism, his Old Cairo roots, and his understanding of local culture, streets, timing, people, and daily life help travelers avoid confusion and save a lot of time and effort. He knows how to make the experience smooth, practical, and enjoyable, especially for visitors who want to see the important places without feeling rushed or lost. Ahmed’s tours combine clear explanations, flexible pacing, honest local advice, friendly conversation, and a personal connection to the places you visit. Whether it is a free walking tour, a private Cairo experience, or a custom itinerary across Egypt, his goal is to make every traveler feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the real Egypt.
