Ahmed Yassin is a local Cairo host with more than 8 years of experience in tourism. He comes from an Old Cairo family with deep roots in the city, and his family once owned shops in the historic Khan El-Khalili area. This personal connection gives his tours a genuine local feeling — Cairo is not just a destination he explains, it is part of his identity.
My father is an antiquities conservator who worked on the Great Sphinx in Giza, the Citadel of Qaitbay, Bab Zuweila, and historic mosques across Old Cairo. Growing up around these monuments shaped everything I know and love about Egypt.
Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and worked in IT, but his real passion for history, storytelling, people, and Egyptian culture pushed him toward tourism and creating memorable experiences. He loves meeting travelers, sharing stories, making new friends from around the world, and learning about different cultures through every tour he hosts. This mix of education, professional experience, communication skills, and genuine passion helps him create tours that feel clear, organized, friendly, and full of life.
